4. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING?

At COMFIS TERUEL we process your personal data to manage the services you request and/or have contracted with us, and to provide you with the information you need.

Purposes based on a contractual relationship 

  • The activities based on an agreement or contract allow for the management of our customers and suppliers. The data requested is necessary to manage the services we provide.
  • The management of requests, incidents and complaints that our customers send us through the contact form are also based on the contractual relationship.

Purposes based on a legitimate interest

  • Customer service

Dealing with requests for information or queries that you send us through the various existing means of contact, including forms. This data processing allows us to attend to you properly and resolve the queries raised, which is for your benefit.

  • Providing our customers with further information about  similar services.

Your data may be processed for the purpose of sending promotional communications, provided that they are related to products and/or services of which you are a customer. These communications may be addressed to the data you have provided as a means of contact, such as e-mail, telephone or postal address.

  • Usability and quality analysis of our shopping platform.       

In order to improve the user experience and offer a higher quality service, we may analyse the usability of the platform and the degree of user satisfaction.

Consent-based purposes

  • Sending newsletters to the indicated email address, with promotional campaigns. In this case, the data processing would not be legitimised by the commercial relationship, so we would request your consent beforehand to inform you of our products, services and associated promotions.

We inform you that we do NOT make automated decisions based on the information you provide.  If there are any changes in the future, we will ask for your prior consent.

5. WHAT TYPE OF DATA WILL BE PROCESSED?

In order to fulfil our commitment, we will process data that includes the following categories: identification data, contact data and other data related to the commercial, accounting and tax fields. 

In addition, our systems may store connection and navigation data for technical, analytical and statistical purposes, in order to include improvements to our platform to improve the user experience.  Information on the use we make of this type of data can be found in our “cookies policy”, which appeared on your first connection or can be consulted at the bottom of this page.

6. HOW IS MY DATA COLLECTED?

We obtain the data we need to offer our service from the information given by the user, either directly or indirectly.  For example, when you use our online forms or when you provide us with information in person or at our physical location.

7. HOW LONG WILL MY DATA BE KEPT?

At COMFIS TERUEL we will only keep your data for as long as necessary for the purpose described, so when they are no longer needed for their purpose they will be blocked (they will not be used in any way). 

Having them blocked allows us to deal with claims and to fulfil the responsibilities acquired by our service and by the use we make of your personal data. 

On the other hand, we must respect the retention periods that allow us to comply with our legal and fiscal obligations.  For example, in the case of data collected for billing purposes, we will retain it for a minimum period of 5 years from the last invoice.

8. IS IT NECESSARY TO PROVIDE MY DATA?

The information contained in the forms is essential to manage the service required, to attend to your request for information or to register for our newsletters (if applicable).  For example, your identification data is necessary to create the invoice and comply with our tax obligations. Similarly, if you do not provide your contact details, we will not be able to send you the product you request.

9. WHO WILL RECEIVE MY DATA?

We will not share your data with other companies or persons unless it is necessary for the provision of the service you request from us, we are obliged to do so by law or you give us your prior permission. In any case, it will only be disclosed to fulfil the purpose(s) you gave us your data for, and we will not use it for any different purpose(s).

For example, it may sometimes be necessary to collaborate with certain third party service providers who have access to your personal data and who process them in the name and on behalf of COMFIS TERUEL in order to provide their services. Specifically, the sectors these providers perform their services in may include, but are not limited to: logistics and transport services, accounting and tax advice, technology and/or computer service providers, as well as the support and maintenance of our website.

Our web pages are hosted on national servers, thus we inform you that we do not carry out international data transfers.  When essential in order to manage certain specific services, the transfers would be made on the basis of  adequacy decisions, appropriate safeguards, binding corporate rules or specific applicable situations, and you will be informed of it.

11. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

At COMFIS TERUEL we aim to constantly improve, so it may be necessary to modify our Privacy Policy.  Any changes about the purpose or legitimacy of the processing of personal data will be immediately communicated to the user. In any case, we suggest that you should review this Privacy Policy from time to time in case there might be minor changes or improvements, as we will use it as a permanent point of information.
